Software Development Process
Aerion Technologies will work through the following software development processes to create your businesses customised software.
1. Software Requirements Specifications
Aerion Technologies will consult with your business to finalise exactly what you require for the software and how you expect it to work. Once this is finalised, Aerion Technologies will develop a Software Requirements Specifications document. This document contains our understanding of your organisational requirements for the software development in writing. This document would need to be approved by the client before development would begin.
2. Quote for Software Development
After Aerion Technologies understands what is required your business requires, we can prepare a quote for you. This quote will contain the a software development plan, timeframe of deliverables and milestones and well a breakdown of the costs involved.
3. Software Development
After the requirements and the quote is sign off by the client, Aerion Technologies will begin developing the software application. For internal use, Aerion will start by creating a software design document. This is like a blue-print when building a house. On completion of the design document, the following steps will take place:
- i. Development and Coding
- ii. Quality assurance and testing and bug fixing
4. Delivery and acceptance testing
On completion of the software development, Aerion Technologies will deliver and install the system to the client’s premises. The client will then user test and sign off that the requirements have been meet.
5. Maintenance and support
Subject to agreed terms, at Aerion Technologies we offer up to 12 months ongoing maintenance and support for all software development projects. Staff support and training is also available to all our clients.
