Use Thunderbird to view your email

Many clients are still using their web hosting to manage their emails. This is useful if you don’t want to pay for an email application. We recommend the use of Thunderbird. Thunderbird is a free email client that will allow you to store all of your email on your own computer and allow you to require less space on your hosting account.

Email applications can download your emails to your computer and remove them from the server on which they are stored, this is not ideal for those of you who access your email from multiple locations. In the following posts i will explain how to set up a mail account on Thunderbird and also how to leave your emails on the server for a certain amount of time allowing you to access it from anywhere. After the desired time has expired the emails are removed from the server freeing up space.

Download Thunderbird  from here and find out more.
